NGC 2392 Eskimo Nebula
Eskimo people wear thick coat with a fur-lined hood to protect their ears and face from the freezing cold. Does this nebula resembles an Eskimo wearing a fur-lined hood? Commonly known as Eskimo Nebula, it lies some 4,200 light-years from Earth in the constellation Gemini (The Twins). Eskimo Nebula is a planetary nebula composes of complex inner and outer layers of gas cloud. At the center is a star which has used up its hydrogen gas. The star started to cool and expand and expelled materials into space forming the beautiful planetary nebula we observed today.
